The Friends of westburn Nursery are engaged in lots of activities, planning events, buying and choosing resources, planning parties, fund raising, joining in with the development of the nursery, supporting our improvement priorities and lending a hand.  The group also supports outings and Christmas events, baking and story telling, the lending library and the development of new initiatives. This year we are hoping to develop a community garden.  Remember every little helps from home baking or sharing ideas to organising raffles or applying for grants. Its fun and easy to get involved.  Just pop along to a meeting or put a suggestion in the nursery suggestion box. You can make a real difference. It also give parents and carers a real say in the life of the nursery.   "Coming to meetings is like a Night out" ..."We all love a gab and it's nice to know what we can do to help our children".
